To the Editor:

Anastasia Yopp is what West Hartford and Newington needs.

Currently crime is on the rise and the current representative seems to be taking no interest to ease the suffering of law-abiding citizens. They seem more focused on CRT and other matters that do not address personal and community safety. Anastasia Yopp has been very vocal to her supporters about her plan to deal with the current trend on crime. For years politicians have made crime a political issue, an issue that they ignore until it’s election season and they need an issue to rally voters. Anastasia Yopp’s plan is a year-round, life-long solution to keep the citizens safe, protect property and rehabilitate criminals. On Nov. 8, vote Anastasia Yopp for the 20th District, West Hartford and Newington.

Richard Da Silva

20th District Resident

Editor’s Note: The author cited the following source for his statement regarding crime: “According to Neighborhoodscout.com and other sites that review neighborhoods that you wish to live in, property crime such as thefts, larceny, and burglary are higher than  than the national mean for the country.”
