To the Editor,

While dealing with some significant health issues over the past couple of years, Carolyn and I have far too often needed West Hartford’s emergency medical services (EMS).  Our town’s coordinated EMS is amazing – reliable, fast, skilled and wonderfully caring.

We are so grateful to our West Hartford 911 dispatch workers, firefighters who are EMS first responders, ambulance EMTs and sometimes WHPD officers who provide back-up. All wonderful people and great care.
