West Hartford resident Michael Johnson is Vice President of Government Affairs at Hartford-based Sullivan & LeShane, the government relations and lobbying firm. He’s been a Big Brother (adult mentor) with Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters for a bit more than a year.

Michael’s Little Brother (mentee) in Nutmeg’s community-based youth mentoring program is 11-year-old Zamarion from Hartford. The two are currently celebrating National Mentoring Month, which runs nationwide throughout the month of January.

Because they know the importance and benefits of mentoring, Michael and Zamarion are asking others to check out how enriching and how much fun youth mentoring can be by going to: www.nbbbs.org.
