The Mandell JCC’s new community theater production of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ begins Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, in West Hartford.

The Mandell JCC’s new community theater will perform the musical classic, Fiddler onthe Roof, Thursday, Dec. 3; Saturday Dec. 5; Thursday, Dec. 10; and Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday performance, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m., at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT. The production is directed and choreographed by Carolyn Weiser.
Join an intergenerational cast as they visit the shtetl of Anatevka, where Tevye the milkman tries to protect his daughters and his way of life from a changing world and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. With beloved songs such as “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker.” Fiddler On The Roof, which recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary, is the perfect show to help celebrate the Mandell JCC’s centennial year.
Fiddler on the Roof cast stars, Rafael F. Garbalosa (Tevye), Carol Rosenberg (Yente), Michael Isko (Lazar Wolf), Jennifer Ludgin (Golde), Rosie Coursey (Tzeitel), Ruthie Harrison (Hodel), Katrina Schwartz (Chava), Zachary Aldave (Motel), Daniel Madigan (Perchik), Samm Smith-Rapaport (Fyedka), Bonnie Weiner (Grandma Tzeitel), and Sydney Weiser (Fruma-Sarah), along with Annie Tilden, Joseph Harrison, Olivia Fassanella, Zachary Goldberg, Eric Goldberg, Sadie Margolis, Lauren Persky, Peter Harris, Chris Dunn, Andrew Small, Patricia Kazakoff, Sandrine Sebag, Sophie Tulchinsky, Lucia Katz, Sari Eisen, Stephanie Reuning-Scherer, Shoshana Levy, Dov Geoghegan, Rachel Siegel, and Victoria Boustani as the residents of Anatevka.
