The Nepalese Association of Connecticut will hold a Candlelight Vigil on the front lawn of Town Hall by the auditorium steps on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 5 p.m., to remember the lives lost in the tragic events on the morning of Aug. 26 when a series of flash floods completely destroyed the Gyirong checkpoint on the China–Nepal border.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
