Scott Snow will lead the tennis program at the Mandell JCC Swim & Tennis Club for the summer of 2015.

The Mandell JCC’s summer site, The Swim & Tennis Club’s tennis program will now be led by USPTA certified Tennis Professional, Scott Snow. Held at the Mandell JCC Swim & Tennis Club, 4 Duncaster Rd., Bloomfield, the 2015 Tennis Season runs from May 1 through September 7. The Asphalt courts opened May 4, and the Har-Tru courts open May 23.
Scott Snow joins the Mandell JCC Swim & Tennis Club team with over 30 years of teaching experience. Snow has been ranked #1 in New England Doubles Tennis 10 times and is currently ranked #1 in Men’s 35 and 45 Doubles, and has been ranked as high as #3 in Singles in New England and #5 in 35 and over Doubles and #27 in singles nationally. As a USPTA certified instructor, he offers children and adults various tennis programs along with overseeing 3 Adult Inter Club Teams.
Snow will be the lead instructor for the Tennis Jam Summer Camp as a part of the JCC’s Sports Jams Camp Program. The Tennis Jams Sports Camps are for grades 1-8 with weekly camps offered from June 15 – August 21. The camps offer half and full-day options, as well as before and after care services. As a part of the Mandell JCC tennis programming, Snow will be offering Junior Tennis Clinics: Tony Tots for ages 3 ½ – 5, Juniors Level 1 for ages 5-7, Juniors Level II for ages 8 – 10 and Juniors Level III for ages 11 – 13. For Adults, Snow will offer Adult Beginners Tennis, Doubles Drill and Cardio Tennis.
Snow is excited to be a part of the Mandell JCC’s tennis programming stating, “I really hope to develop a junior program that will eventually lead to a Junior Inter Club League.”
The Swim & Tennis Club, open to all, May 23-September 7, is a private pool-side paradise for families to relax, enjoy events, take swim lessons, play tennis, and much more.
