More than a dozen West Hartford roads were repaved this spring and Department of Public Works crews are currently working on the second batch of roads.

According to Town Engineer Duane Martin, work is in progress on the following roadways with completion expected in early August, weather permitting:

  • Brightview Drive
  • Hunter Drive (Canal Road to Westborough Drive)
  • Karen Road
  • Proctor Drive
  • Rillbank Terrace
  • Squirrel Hill Lane
  • Squirrel Hill Road
  • Tanglewood Road
  • Trout Brook Drive (Farmington Avenue to Boulevard)
  • Westborough Drive
  • King Philip Drive (Mohawk Drive to Route 44 (Albany Avenue)

In addition, Martin also advised that the top course of South Highland Street from Boulevard to Park Road has also been paved.

The third and final round of repaving for the year is scheduled to occur in September and October. The list of those streets will be published once it has been finalized.
