West Hartford Police said late Thursday night that they are investigating a crash involving a moped and a car near the intersection of Flatbush and New Park avenues that sent one person to the hospital.
Assistant Chief Larry Terra said West Hartford Police, the West Hartford Fire Department, and EMS personnel responded at approximately 9:26 p.m. Thursday.
The operator of the moped sustained injuries, police said, and was transported to an area hospital. Medical aid was initially provided at the scene. The extent of the injuries are “unknown,” police said.
All parties involved in the crash remained at the scene and were cooperating with the investigation, Terra said.
