The latest exhibition at The Golden Thread Gallery opens Saturday, Jan. 24 and will be on display through March 7.

The Golden Thread Gallery is pleased to present its latest exhibition, ORDER & CHAOS with an Artist Reception on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 7–8:30 p.m. This event is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.
ORDER & CHAOS is our 3rd exhibit in our “YIN & YANG: A SEASON OF CONNECTION & BALANCE” exhibits. ORDER & CHAOS includes a diverse selection of work from 24 artists from all over the world to include South Korea and Brazil. We are especially pleased to highlight the work of veterans in this exhibit. ORDER & CHAOS offers a unique cultural and educational experience, creatively illustrating the diversity of the human condition. Sculpture, oil, mixed media, metal and paper art are just a few of the art mediums represented in this exhibit.
On Wednesday Jan. 28, we will host our 5th SPARK event from 6–8 p.m. At our SPARK events we invite artists who are interested in creating all types of community art projects to present a proposal at a dinner event. We also invite community members to attend our dinner for a $20 donation. Artists will present their community art project, all attendees will vote and the artist with the most votes will gets all the proceeds from the dinner to create their community project. If needed, public approvals must be in place to receive funding. SPARK events provide instant seed money for artists who have a well-planned art project that would be beneficial to the community or community members. To date The Golden Thread Gallery has gifted over $1,600 to public art projects.
The Golden Thread Gallery, with the mission of connecting the human spirit through the arts, began presenting meaningful work in 2013. The Golden Thread Gallery exhibits professional and emerging artists from various backgrounds and welcomes all mediums, all cultures and religions. By displaying a collection of various perspectives on a common theme, we reveal how art can creatively illustrate the diversity of the human condition. Our name, The Golden Thread, represents the invisible, underlying connection that weaves together the spirit of humanity – through the arts. To date we have had over 150 artists from all over the world present their work at the gallery.
The gallery is located at 303 Tunxis Road in West Hartford, Connecticut. Gallery Hours are: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 10:00 am- 3:00 pm, Thursday 12:00 pm-6:00 pm and Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
