The Glastonbury Tomahawks hosted the Conard Chieftains on Saturday, Sept. 28 at noon, in a game that was postponed from Friday night. Many local high school and college sporting events have been rescheduled for daytime hours due to concern about mosquitos carrying the deadly EEE virus.

Glastonbury scored first, but Conard led 26-14 at the half.

Glastonbury (2-1) rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 13 unanswered points, to beat the Chieftains 27-26.

Conard (1-2) will face East Hartford at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 – a game that was also originally scheduled for Friday night. East Hartford (0-3) will be coming off a 16-15 loss to West Hartford’s Hall High School on Sept. 28.
