Physicians Discuss Medical Ethics and Vaccines on We-Ha.com Facebook Live Forum

Dr. Kerry Moss and Dr. Nicholas Bennett discussed the medical ethics involved with reopening the state, as well as other medical issues during a We-Ha.com Facebook Live forum Thursday night, May 7.

The discussion was moderated by We-Ha.com Managing Editor Ronni Newton and John Lyons, and topics included herd immunity and how to protect the most vulnerable from COVID-19 if the state begins reopening more of the economy as of May 20.

Dr. Kerry M. Moss is attending physician in the divisions of hematology/oncology and pain and palliative medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. She is board-certified in pediatrics, hematology/oncology and in hospice and palliative medicine and is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. Moss previously served on the Children’s Hospital of Colorado Ethics Committee and taught ethics to medical students at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Nicholas Bennett is a pediatric infectious disease specialist who received his medical training at Cambridge and has a Ph.D in virology also from Cambridge. He was the division head of Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center until last summer. He’s currently engaged in consulting and speaking work.
