Actor David Naughton, a 1969 graduate of Conard High School, is appearing Sept. 14 at “CT Horror Fest,” a genre convention celebrating all things macabre.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Naugatuck Event Center.

Naughton, who lives in California, is probably best knows for his 1981 starring role in “An American Werewolf in London,” a groundbreaking horror-comedy written and directed by John Landis.

Naughton recently appeared on the “Navel Gazing” podcast to talk about growing up in West Hartford and share his “Werewolf” memories.

The podcast is produced by ValleyIndy.org, a nonprofit independent online newspaper in Derby.
