The Rotary Club of West Hartford’s 12th Annual ‘Vines of March’ Auction and Wine Tasting will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Spend a Saturday night tasting an array of reds, whites and brews, noshing on samples from several of West Hartford’s finest restaurants, winning fantastic prizes, and doing good.
The Rotary Club of West Hartford will be holding its signature event, “The Vines of March” on Saturday, March 2 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall. The event combines a wine tasting with both a silent and live auction.

Tickets are $75 per person and benefit the Rotary Club of West Hartford’s many local service projects. Last year, the event raised more than $50,000.
Food vendors for the event include: Beachland Tavern, Blue Elephant Trail, Corner Pug, Crown Market, Effie’s Place, Fleming’s Steakhouse, Harry’s Bishop’s Corner Pizza, Hartford Baking Company, J Restaurant and Bar, Jimmie’s Pizza, Joey’s Pizza Pie, Maruichi Japanese Market, Pond House Café, Yosi Kosher Catering, and more. Harvey’s Wine and Spirits of Bishops Corner will be providing a wide range of wine and beer at the event for tasting and purchase.
Dozens of auction items including West Hartford restaurant packages, sports memorabilia, golf outings, and garden supplies will be on the block.

“The benefits of ‘Vines of March’ go beyond one evening, beyond the month of March, and well beyond West Hartford,” said Kyle Egress of West Hartford’s the event chair. “Our club is able to give to organizations like Johnny’s Jog for Charity, the Dictionary Project, Children’s Reading Partners, and Town that Cares programs. On a global level, we’re helping to establish a dental clinic in Uganda and joining the fight to end polio now. This evening of food, wine and friendship celebrates and perpetuates initiatives like these,” Egress added.
