The West Hartford-based Seniors Job Bank has announced a new initiative for those seeking to volunteer with local organizations.

The Seniors Job Bank, the nonprofit community resource that connects people over 50 seeking paid work with businesses and households looking for workers, has expanded its service to include volunteer positions. With over 900 registered jobseekers, many of whom have expressed a strong desire to give back, this new service provides a valuable opportunity for organizations in need of dedicated volunteers.
As part of our ongoing mission to serve both seniors and the broader community, SJB now invites non-profits and other organizations to post their volunteer opportunities on our platform. This service is designed to foster connections between experienced individuals looking to volunteer and organizations that can benefit from their skills and dedication.
