In gratitude for the service of those who gave their lives while serving and in recognition of Memorial Day, Sheehan Hilborn Breen invites the families of those veterans as well as current veterans to come to the Sheehan Hilborn Breen parking area on Saturday May 26, 2018 from noon to 3 p.m. to receive a free American Flag and personal size Table Talk Apple Pie, while supplies last.
Memorial Day is a national holiday in the United States for remembering the men and women who died while serving in the country’s military services. In observance of the holiday, many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. Many families or volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries.
Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home is located at 1084 New Britain Ave. in West Hartford. Please drive to the back of the building to pick up your flag and pie.
