Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic fixings to this all-ages concert by the ShoreGrass Band at the Elmwood Senior Center’s Gazebo, located near the lower parking lot of the Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT. The concert will be held on Tuesday, July 31, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The ShoreGrass Band is a bluegrass band from the Connecticut shoreline comprised of Frank and Barbara Shaw (banjo and guitar), Paul Pozzi on mandolin, and various musicians on bass, fiddle and Dobro. Their music is a lively mix of traditional bluegrass, old-time, early country, gospel and folk songs as well as original pieces reflecting their roots in contemporary music with a local flavor.

The rain location is in Ernest O. St. Jacques Auditorium inside the Elmwood Community Center at 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT 06110. This event is sponsored by Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen and is free to attend.
