The sale of books and furnishings/fixtures from the convent’s library will take place on Saturday in West Hartford.

The Sisters of St. Joseph are having a Library Book Sale at their Convent at 27 Park Rd. (corner of Park Road and Prospect Avenue) in West Hartford on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

More than 4,000 books will be offered at bargain prices, and include fiction, literature, history, biography, religion and travel. There are no children’s books in the collection.

Select library furniture and fixtures will also be on sale.

Hardcover books are priced at $1, paperbacks at 50 cents each. All of the books have library markings, but most are in good to excellent condition. From 1:30 – 3 p.m., there will be a Brown bag sale at $6/bag. This sale will not be repeated, so don’t miss it!

Please note the Convent is not handicap accessible. 

On-street parking is available along Park Rd. in front of the Convent. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Sisters of St. Joseph.
