A bear entered a garage on Auburn Road in West Hartford on Wednesday and proceeded to take the beanbags from a corn hole set stored there.

Steve Boyle and his wife, Kerry, who run the popular 241 Sports program and are known for encouraging people to try a variety of sports, have now attracted a four-legged creature to further explore athletics.

Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Boyle looked outside his Auburn Road home and spied a bear with a beanbag in its mouth, pilfered from the corn hole game stored in the family’s garage.

He posted the video with the following message on Facebook and Instagram:

“I thought this guy was feeling guilty for stealing this bean bag from my garage, but 10 seconds later I found him back in there looking for another!

“Apparent #cornhole fan!”

When asked if he was able salvage the beanbag, Boyle said the one that the bear had in his mouth would need to be sewn up somehow or it would be useless.

“Not surprisingly – it’s an old school one stuffed with real rice. Hence the interest I assume!” he added.
