St. Brigid School Announces First Semester Academic Honors

St. Brigid School in West Hartford has announced that 14 students have received academic honors for the first semester.

For the first academic semester of 2015, Saint Brigid School (SBS) is proud to announce 14 of their junior high school students achieved high honors, honors, or attained the rank of honorable mention.

The high honors recipient is: Dominick Mealha, an eighth-grade student.

Honors recipients are: Janealle Miller and Joshua Grajales both in eighth-grade; Joshua Brown, seventh grade, Deven Austin, Matthew Churcho, and Janiya Henry in sixth-grade.

The following individuals received honorable mentions: Eighth-grade students Teo Bolton, Denae Douglas, Mishi Fromm, Elijah Pond Reza, Nathan Rinaldi, and Evan Thompson. Additionally, seventh-grade student Melanie Grajales also received an honorable mention.

“At Saint Brigid School we are committed to creating tomorrow’s leaders. All of these students are wonderful examples of being self-motivated with a commitment to academic excellence. Proudly we celebrate their achievements because their success is our success too,” stated Principal Shevon Sweeney Hickey.
