St. Brigid St. Augustine: A Partnership School, expressed a heartfelt thank you to the national Christian organization “Catholic Heart Work Camp’s” youthful volunteers.

All week long an excited group of youth ministers and teenage volunteers from various states, led by Father Joseph Crowley and Principal Shevon Hickey, helped move books, file cabinets, furnishings, and equipment from the former St. Augustine’s School in Hartford to its new partnership school, St. Brigid St. Augustine, located in West Hartford.

“God always knows when you need help,” stated an enthusiastic Father Crowley.

Calmly nodding in agreement Hickey said, “Moving all this state-of-the-art equipment was a big undertaking. God definitely answers prayers.”

The Catholic Heart Work Camp’s motto of “Love, Serve, and Connect” was put into action as they unselfishly volunteered in the sweltering heat for several days. These young people definitely epitomize that God is great all the time!
