State Senator Beth Bye: ‘Spread The Word to End the R-Word’

State Senator Beth Bye (D-West Hartford) signs a Special Olympics Connecticut pledge to ‘Spread The Word to End the R-Word’ at a press conference held in the State Capitol on May 13.

Sen. Beth Bye joined advocates, parents, children, other adults, and a bipartisan group of state legislators to engage schools, organizations and communities to not use the “r-word” and to promote the inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
