The Town of West Hartford recognized 74 employees at a luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 7, celebrating milestone anniversaries of employment with the town ranging from five years to as much 35 years.

Town Manager Rick Ledwith, Mayor Shari Cantor, and Acting Director of Human Resources Cathy Lombardi, as well as departmental directors, marked the anniversaries.

In addition to those celebrating anniversaries, 78 employees who began their service with the Town of West Hartford in 2022 were also recognized.

Victoria Gerent, who works in Library Services, has the longest tenure of the group celebrated Wednesday, with 35 years. While she was unable to attend, her colleague Karen Thomson, who has 30 years of service, was at the luncheon and is pictured above. Donna Allen, who works for the police department, is also a 30-year employee but was not at the event.
