Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy to Host ‘Snakes of Connecticut’ Program

The Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy will host the free ‘Snakes of Connecticut’ program at the Elmwood Community Center in West Hartford.

The Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy – the newly-formed regional land conservation organization formed by the merger of the West Hartford, Wintonbury, and East Granby Land Trusts – invites the public to attend a free presentation on Snakes of Connecticut, Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Community Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
Brian Kleinman, owner of Riverside Reptiles Education Center, will discuss the natural history and identification of 14 species of snakes that make Connecticut their home.
After the presentation, attendees will have a chance to meet and touch some of the live snakes.
