The UConn Alumni Network, as part of a nation wide UConn Cares initiative, met in West Hartford on April 29 to make fleece dog toys to donate to the CT Humane Society.

More than 4o alumni and friends attended the event – and together created 80 dog toys for donation.

Jonathan the Husky, UConn’s mascot, was in attendance and with a wag of the tail determined that the toys passed inspection and were ready for donation to the CT Humane Society.
