Rumor has it …”you don’t need powers to be a hero”!

Come join us at Sedgwick Middle School for the 2016 Unified Theater show this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 17 and 18 ! You will be thoroughly entertained by the talents of our 185 enthusiastic middle school students. There is singing and dancing and signing and acting all revolving around the superhero theme! Both shows are at 5 p.m. in the auditorium.

Spotlighting ability for 15 years, Unified Theater creates more inclusive communities through youth leadership and the performing arts. Students of all abilities, backgrounds, interests and experience come together as individuals and equals to write, direct and produce their own theater performances.

Founded in West Hartford, CT in 2002 by a 15-year-old, Unified Theater is currently celebrating 15 years of empowering young people to change their schools and communities through acceptance, creativity and inclusion.
