West Hartford’s Playhouse on Park is expanding, and is looking for volunteers to help take inventory and move items to a storage facility.
Submitted by Playhouse on Park
Please join the Playhouse on Park family in taking inventory of all the memorable set pieces, costumes and props from the last six years of countless productions! If you have a knack for organizing, cleaning and de-cluttering, we would love to have your helping hands on Volunteer Day, Sunday, June 28 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
The new permanent storage location is just miles down the road from the Playhouse, boasting over 3,000 square feet of space. Our team will be assembling shelves, categorizing, breaking things apart, and repairing the old as we look toward our seventh season starting in September.
There is a task for everyone! Bring your tools, mucky clothes and friends as we transform this space into a functioning museum of sorts. As we curate our wares, we’re also looking for additional industrial shelving and hanging racks.
Willing and able volunteers may help by signing up for a few hours or for the entire day. Every bit of help is appreciated! Call to sign up at 860-523-5900 x10, or email [email protected]. Playhouse on Park is located at 244 Park Rd., West Hartford, CT 06119.
