The community is invited to cast their votes for their favorite businesses or individuals in a variety of categories.

From Wednesday, Sept. 18 until Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 11:59 p.m., the community has the ability to choose their favorite West Hartford business – or in some case person, or association – in 57 categories, in the 10th annual Best of West Hartford contest.

Previous finalists are pre-filled on the ballot, but write-ins are welcome for all categories – and write-in votes have generated winners in the past. Also, if there’s a category you think is missing, there’s even an opportunity to write in the “Best ___.”

Winners will be announced in multiple media – including West Hartford Magazine, We-Ha.com, and the Jewish Ledger – event organizer Tom Hickey of 2020 Media said.

The 10th Anniversary Best of West Hartford celebration will be held on Nov. 18, 2024, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Mandell JCC. “To mark this special 10th anniversary occasion, we have partnered with Arthur Murray Dance to present, with Northstar Wealth Partners, local star dance teams to compete for the ‘Best Dancers in West Hartford‘ … just like ‘Dancing with the Stars,'” Hickey said. Information about tickets for the event will be available soon on Eventbrite and social media.
