The Webster Hill PTO is once again hosting a Thanksgiving morning ‘Turkey Trot’ in the school’s West Hartford neighborhood.

The Webster Hill Elementary PTO is encouraging the West Hartford community to get out and enjoy Thanksgiving morning while supporting the school during the third annual Turkey Trot run/walk which begins at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
“Last year we had 400 Turkey Trot participants complete the 5K which looped around the Webster Hill neighborhood. We had registrants from 14 different states and from many neighborhoods in West Hartford,” Turkey Trot Committee Member Erika Burke White said.
The PTO is encouraging all runners, walkers, and stroller-pushers to spend the morning outside together. All money raised will benefit Webster Hill Elementary School. The school is located at 125 Webster Hill Boulevard.
The cost to participate is $15 for those ages 5-13 and $25 for participants age 14 and up. Children 4 and under are free. A race shirt will be provided to all who register on or before Sunday, Nov. 12.
