On Feb. 6 and 7, the WeHa Artists Emporium is hosting their second online art market, this one is just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The Sweet Art Pop-Up will start at 11 a.m. on the WeHa Artists Emporium’s Facebook page with the group’s founder, Stefanie Marco of Kindspin Design, doing a 15-minute live feed showing off her heart and love-themed art for those in the gift giving mood.

Marco will be followed by three other artists, each shooting their own 15-minute live shopping video, with Saturday’s event ending at noon. On Sunday, another four artists will take the live “stage” from 11 a.m. until noon.

Those looking to score a sweet deal can buy art directly from the artist during the live feed, or can watch the videos at a later time and contact the artist following the event. All of the videos will be available to view on the WeHa Artists Emporium’s Facebook page.

“When COVID closed down the arts and craft shows, Stefanie and I tried to come up with a way to help the local art community,” says Julie Phillipps, one of the group’s co-founders. “We did our first online market in December and that went really well.”

“Nothing beats going to an art show in person,” adds Marco. “The connection between artist and art patron is really important. But until we’re all safe to gather again, these Facebook Live events are a great alternative.”
