Stand-Up Underground of West Hartford will , CT presents “Dangerously Awkward,” a comedy show with national headliner Kenan Jerome Floyd, on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Elbow Room, 986 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, CT. “Dangerously Awkward” is emceed, curated, and produced by Maurice Green, who has hosted and run dozens of successful shows in the tri-state area and Los Angeles.

National headliner Kenan Jerome Floyd is a comic, producer, and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. He hosts the podcast “Dangerously Awkward,” and has had work featured on Sirius XM, The Daily Wire, TruTV, and Comedy Central. He has sold out shows all over the United States. Featured comedian Melissa MizzConduct Elmore is a Hartford, CT, native who has made an immediate splash onto the comedy scene by hosting a weekly open mic at Kabbalah House in Hartford, and featuring in showcases with top comics all over New England.

Boston-based guest comic Dom Smith has been performing stand-up comedy for the past three years at clubs like Nick’s Comedy Stop and The Comedy Studio. Dom has been known to make a very diverse audience laugh on topics such as race, relationships and everyday observations.

Guest comic Sarah Francis is originally from Cambridge, MA, and has lived all over the Northeast compiling humorous material about mistaken identities. She is the host of the Chica Mic & Streetside at The Cabot in Beverly, MA.

Guest comic Joanna Rapoza officially started stand-up 2011, studying and performing at Caroline’s on Broadway in NYC. Since then, she’s been hosting and producing shows, and continuing to do guest and feature work in the New York and New England areas. In March 2017, she received an honorarium from Eastern Connecticut State University and was a guest lecturer for a credited liberal arts college course on the topic of women in comedy.
