The Warner Stage Company opens its 2015-16 Main Stage Musical season with a new, lighthearted musical comedy, ‘Nice Work If You Can Get It, Nov. 7-15, 2015.
West Hartford residents Catherine Quirk and Rick Fountain appear in the production. Rick, in his first Warner Stage production, is playing the lead role of Jimmy Winter. Catherine’s character arrives late in the play to “save the day.”
Get ready for this 1920s-era feel-good musical, complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger. This sparkling, madcap tale combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls and glamour, set against a backdrop featuring the glorious classic songs of Gershwin.
The Warner Stage Company production is directed and choreographed by Sheila Waters Fucci with Music Director Holly J. McCann. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 860-489-7180 or online at warnertheatre.org.
