The West Hartford Advisory Commission for Persons with Disabilities has openings for additional members.

Are you looking for a way to serve your community?

Do you have a personal or professional interest in improving the lives of people with disabilities?

The West Hartford Advisory Commission for Persons with Disabilities is seeking additional commission members. The role of this commission is to advise the town on matters of accessibility, public accommodations and emergency preparedness.

Past collaborative projects with the town have included Complete Streets policies, Trout Brook Trail, audible traffic signals and the Ten Year plan of Conservation and Development.

Members are appointed to serve for one three-year term. Meetings are held on the second Monday of every other month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
