West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District Offering COVID Vaccine and Booster Walk-In Clinics

Walk-in COVID-19 vaccination and booster clinics will be offered throughout the summer at various locations, beginning June 7.

Aimee Krauss, director of the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District, said that walk-in clinics for anyone requiring a COVID-19 vaccination or booster have been scheduled throughout the summer, at several locations in West Hartford as well as in Bloomfield.

The Health District offers both Modern and Pfizer vaccines, and anyone ages 12 or older can receive a vaccine or booster free of charge. Those attending the clinics should bring identification, as well as insurance and existing COVID vaccine cards if applicable.

The dates, times, and locations are:

Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road

  • June 7, 10-11:30 a.m.
  • July 5, 10-11:30 a.m.
  • Aug. 23, 10-11:30AM

Elmwood Community Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. (vehicle access from Burgoyne Street)

  • June 21, 9-10:30 a.m.
  • July 26, 9-10:30 a.m.
  • Aug. 16, 9-10:30 a.m.

Bloomfield Senior Center, 330 Park Ave.

  • June 14, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • July 12, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 2, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
