Day and evening sessions are available in the fall of 2023 for a diabetes management workshop series hosted by the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District.
The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District will offer a seven-week diabetes workshop series for individuals with type 2 diabetes who are newly diagnosed or who may need an update on managing their diabetes.
The workshops are free, and available through Zoom. There is also an onsite viewing of the Zoom classes for participants who struggle with a virtual platform.
Workshop topics include meal planning using the plate method, beginning carbohydrate counting, eating out, label reading, checking blood glucoses and target blood glucose levels, medications, exercising safely, managing sick days, and much more! There is opportunity for questions and comments as we share our virtual learning experience.
Sign-up today for this informative and interactive diabetes workshop.
