West Hartford Choirs Combine for Concert to Benefit Refugee Resettlement

Combined choirs from two West Hartford churches will perform Mozart’s Coronation Mass as fundraiser.

The choirs of First Church West Hartford and Westminster Presbyterian Church will present Music for a Royal Coronation featuring Mozart’s Coronation Mass on April 17 at 3 p.m.

James Boratko, music director of First Church, and Thomas C. Buckley, choir director of Westminster Presbyterian Church, will conduct the free concert, accompanied by a full orchestra. Soloists from both churches will be featured.

The performance will be held at First Church West Hartford, 12 South Main St., West Hartford, CT. The suggested donation is $10, which benefit refugee resettlement work through the Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services foundation (IRIS). Free parking is available in the church parking lot.
