West Hartford Police Department Community Relations Officer Leigh Cogle recently spoke to the Women of St. James’s about her duties. She stressed her work with the town schoolchildren and school safety issues. She also addressed some of the prevalent telephone scams, with examples of citizens who have fallen prey to them, what to look out for, and how to partner with police in reporting any suspicious incidents.
