During an in-person and virtual meeting on Thursday, with over 70 members attending, the West Hartford Democratic Town Committee elected their leadership for the 2022-2024 term and selected delegates for the upcoming state conventions.

The Officers are:

  • Chair: John Bailey
  • Vice-Chair: Tiffani McGinnis
  • Secretary: Steve Derby
  • Assistant Secretary: Peter Andrews
  • Treasurer: Jamie Marinan
  • Vice-Treasurer: Kerry Boyle

“I am grateful to the DTC membership for re-electing me as Chair.” John Bailey said. “The past two years were challenging with a public health and economic crisis. However, I believe that it made a real difference that our town had strong Democratic leadership on our town council, board of education, in our state legislature, and statewide. I look forward to continuing our good work together.”

“It’s an honor to be re-elected Vice-Chair,” said Tiffani McGinnis. “I am ready to go and excited for this new term. We are heading towards a consequential midterm election and we are committed to electing Democratic candidates locally and nationally.”
