At their monthly meeting in October, the West Hartford Exchange Club hosted Terri Eickel, Director of Special Events, as their speaker. Terri spoke to the club about The CT Sports Foundation’s mission to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and to fund cancer research. She also spoke about their upcoming fundraiser, Cycle Against Cancer, held on Oct. 22 at Tribe, 1003 Farmington Ave., West Hartford. The West Hartford Exchange Club’s mission is to make its community a better place to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse. The club sponsors the West Hartford Police & Firefighters Annual Service Awards and provides annual scholarships to Hall and Conard graduates. The club also donates to a variety of local charities
