Hall and Conard High Schools held the second annual Cross-Town Food Drive to support the West Hartford Food Pantry.

Submitted by Jenny Bronson, Hall High School

For the second year in a row, students and staff at Hall and Conard high schools came together in a cross-town initiative to support the West Hartford Pantry during a historically critical time of need – the Thanksgiving holiday.

More than 2,000 non-perishable food items were collected at Hall High School alone. Students and staff were asked to bring in non-perishable food items for collection during the schools’ Wednesday advisory period on Nov. 16.
