West Hartford Library to Host Workshop on Identity Fraud Prevention

A free workhshop on ID fraud and scams will be held at the Noah Webster Library in West Hartford on Feb. 1.

Mike Savenelli of Savenelli Consulting Services LLC will be presenting a workshop on “Identity Fraud and Scams” at the Noah Webster Library in West Hartford on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m.

He will address major points that will help prevent you from becoming a victim and what to do if you’ve been a victim. Today’s numbers are staggering: 13 million people are victims every year and the number is growing.

Savenelli will also talk about some tips on handling the Equifax Breach.

Savenelli has been in the credit industry for 48 years and has a vast background and continues to work and follow issues on this subject matter. He has served with a number of credit fraud organizations and has worked with law enforcement professionals.

Savenelli will have valuable handouts for attendees.
