Jeri Van Leer, Library Media Services Department supervisor, won the state library association’s most prestigious award this year.
On Tuesday night, May 23, the Connecticut Association of School Librarians honored Van Leer with the Rheta A. Clark Award for extensive service and outstanding contributions in the library media field.
Van Leer has worked to create an outstanding library program in the West Hartford Public Schools.
