The West Hartford Magic Girls’ Travel Basketball program will be holding tryouts for the 2014/15 Girls’ Travel Basketball season in the beginning of October.

Registration is now open for tryouts for West Hartford Magic Girls’ Travel Basketball.

The Magic program is comprised of four teams (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams) and they compete in the competitive CT Girls’ Basketball League. Current 5th through 8th grade girls residing in West Hartford are eligible to try out for the Magic. Practices are twice a week with away games on Saturdays and home games on Sundays. The season runs from late October to late February.

5th Grade: Monday, Oct. 6, King Philip Middle School, 5:45–7:15 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 8, Watkinson School, 6–8 p.m.
6th Grade: Monday, Oct. 6 ,King Phillip Middle School 5:45–7:15 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 8 Watkinson School 6–8 p.m.
7th Grade: Monday, Oct. 6, King Philip Middle School , 7:30–9 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 9, King Phillip Middle School 6–7:30 p.m.
8th Grad:, Monday, Oct. 6, and Thursday, Oct. 9, King Philip Middle School, 7:30–9 p.m.
