Her father, Steve Metcalf, a former Hartford Courant music critic and WNPR commentator, will lead the interview on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. as part of The Presidents’ College Lifelong Learning Program at the University of Hartford. The father/daughter duo will spice up the presentation with a few short musical selections.
Laura Metcalf will also perform with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, part of the Masterworks Series, with Boyd Meets Girl, her duo with her husband, classical guitarist Rupert Boyd. That performance will take place on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Bushnell’s Belding Theater.
The event is sponsored by Presidents’ College Lifelong Learning at the University of Hartford. Further details can be found through the following links: Lecture & Performance, or Lecture Only.
