Building on the tradition of the former Park Road Parade, the Park Road Association is excited to announce Fall for Park, a new community festival taking place on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Designed to celebrate the businesses, residents, and unique character of the Park Road neighborhood, the event will feature family-friendly activities, special promotions, live entertainment, and an antique trolley connecting visitors to businesses along the street – all without a street closure.

Attendees will be able to park once and utilize the trolley, which will have designated trolley stops all along Park Road. A complete program of events will be available at each trolley stop and at participating businesses. Over 16 businesses have signed up to participate with more being added regularly. Visit www.ParkRoadCT.com and click on the “Fall for Park” button along the top to find information and a complete list of participating businesses and an up-to-date schedule activities and events.

Participating businesses (to-date) include: A Strand Ahead, AC Peterson Farms, Black Diamond Body Piercing, Ceara Market, Charming Nails & Spa, Effie’s Family Restaurant, The Eight Gates Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, Halls Market, Health is Wealth Juice Bar, J Renee Coffee Roasters, Joey’s Pizza Pie, Lucky Tattoo, Playhouse on Park, Portobello Restaurant,  River Bend Bookshop, Salt + Lime Mexican Cantina, Smoke Public House, Spits Mediterranean Street Food, West Hartford Second Chance Shop, The White Rabbit and more! Steben Motors will host West Hartford nonprofits including Q Plus, Acunpuncture 504C3, Greater Hartford Host Lions Club, Moms and More, West Hartford CERT, West Hartford Chamber of Commerce, West Hartford Pride and more! Park Road businesses or West Hartford nonprofits interested in participating can reach out via [email protected]

This event is co-chaired by West Hartford residents Alisha Landau and Hillary Stoudt and along with support from a committee of volunteers they created the concept of Fall for Park Road.

“We are thrilled that Alisha and Hillary not only stepped up to lead the Events Committee but came up with such a creative way to showcase our businesses and replace the parade,” said Johnny Paindiris, co-president of the Park Road Association. Tracy Flater, co-president of the Park Road Association added, “We don’t see this as a one-off event. We feel that we are laying the foundation for an annual community festival that will grow bigger and better each year.” Anyone interested in volunteering for the event committee or on the day of the event should reach out to [email protected].

A special thank you to our Fall for Park Road sponsors including: Platinum sponsors: Udolf Properties, Mr. Sparkle Car Wash & Valvoline; Gold sponsors: NBT Bank; Silver sponsors: Keating Agency Insurance; Bronze sponsors: A Strand Ahead, AC Petersen Farms, Effie’s Place Family Restaurant, Joey’s Pizza Pie, Juniper Homecare, On the Court, University of Saint Joseph.
