West Hartford Police Investigating Possible Home Invasion

West Hartford Police said that it appears a home invasion occurred in town early Friday morning.

West Hartford Police said victims are being treated for injuries and there is evidence that a theft occurred in an incident early Friday morning that is being investigated as a possible home invasion.

Police said the incident was reported at 1:55 a.m. when officers were dispatched to a residence at 151 Maplewood Ave.

“This is an active and ongoing investigation by the West Hartford Police Department Detective Division,” police said in a news release Friday afternoon.

Police said further details will not be released at this time, but added that “this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no apparent threat to the general public.”
