Police said there were also vehicle tires slashed just over the line in Newington, and police said they also received a report of tires being slashed in the area of 221 Beechwood Road.
Additional residents of South Main Street, who live near Beechwood Road and DORO Marketplace, commented on a Facebook post that they had also discovered Sunday that their tires had been slashed.
DORO Marketplace provided police with a video, timestamped just before 1 a.m. Sunday, that appears to show an individual (in the upper right corner) near the tires of a vehicle in the parking lot.
Police said they are investigating the incidents. Anyone with information should contact police at 860-523-5203 or via the the anonymous tip line 860-570-8969, or by email at [email protected].
