West Hartford Police received reports Sunday morning, Dec. 17, that tires on the delivery vehicles in the parking lot of DORO Marketplace, located at 1253 New Britain Avenue, had been slashed overnight, and later learned of other similar incidents.

Police said there were also vehicle tires slashed just over the line in Newington, and police said they also received a report of tires being slashed in the area of 221 Beechwood Road.

Additional residents of South Main Street, who live near Beechwood Road and DORO Marketplace, commented on a Facebook post that they had also discovered Sunday that their tires had been slashed.

DORO Marketplace provided police with a video, timestamped just before 1 a.m. Sunday, that appears to show an individual (in the upper right corner) near the tires of a vehicle in the parking lot.
