West Hartford Police Seeking 2 Suspects in Armed Robbery

West Hartford Police said the Family Dollar Store on New Britain Avenue was robbed Friday evening.

Two suspects, one of whom brandished a handgun, remain at large after robbing the Family Dollar Store at 939 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford on Friday evening, police said.
According to West Hartford Police Capt. Daniel Moffo, units responded to the report of an armed robbery at 7:23 p.m. Friday.
Police were informed that two suspects, one of whom had a handgun, stole property and money from the business. The amount of money and items stolen were not disclosed.
“Thankfully the victim in this incident was not injured,” Moffo said in an email.
Police described the suspects as Black males. Ones was wearing a black mask and a black hooded sweatshirt, police said. The suspect who brandished the gun was reportedly wearing a white mask, black hat, and a red hooded sweatshirt.
