A Silver Alert was issued by State Police on Tuesday night, and West Hartford Police distributed a news release on Wednesday afternoon stating that Tyler Hester (date of birth June 14, 2009) was last seen leaving her home at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5. Police describe Tyler as a Black female, approximately 5-feet-2-inches with black hair and blonde braids and brown eyes. She weighs approximately 110 pounds.

She has dark blue braces on her teeth and wears round-shaped glasses, police said.
