Pools at West Hartford’s parks have had extended evening hours for the past week due to the heat wave the area has been experiencing, and extended hours will continue through Aug. 5.
According to the Town of West Hartford website, evening recreation have been extended by 30 minutes at Fernridge, Kennedy and Beachland parks, and those pools will be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Aug. 5.
Extended hours at Eisenhower Park will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through Aug. 5.
